Dr. Irma E. Romero is a Board Certified Pediatrician. She earned her medical degree from UMDNJ (University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey). She completed her pediatric training at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in California
Having had 15 years of experience and after working in different areas of pediatric care (Hospitalist, Urgent Care, Private and non-profit organizations), she has acquired plenty of experience treating children. This includes acute and chronic conditions.
Because of these expertise and life experiences, she has emerged as a leader in children’s care. Dr. Romero has been given conferences and classes to the public in different states and countries; always protecting children’s rights.
She also strongly believes in the power of the child’s body to heal itself by given it an adequate, and optimum nutrition and plenty of exercise. These topics are always emphasized while she is caring for the child with a state of the art equipment and up to date knowledge. She holds admitting privileges at Martin Memorial Hospital and Lawnwood Regional Center.
She is happily married and lives in Port Saint Lucie with Martin and their child Samuel.
Kid’s Place Pediatrics is the culmination of her dream to have a practice where children and their families can feel safe. There they will know that a caring and knowledgeable friend will always listen and will be ready to help and guide them.
